About the role
Seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in multiple states to provide high-quality virtual care. The role involves conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances, except buprenorphine), and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered virtual care and build therapeutic relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and provide guidance on their use.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain proper medical documentation and stay current with telehealth best practices.
- Provide virtual medical assessments and treatment.
- Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for addiction.
- Maintain detailed medical records.
- Stay informed on medical advancements and telehealth practices.
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence.
- Comfort with telemedicine technology and EMRs (training provided).
- DEA certification and applicable CSL, if required.
