Telehealth Physician

About the role

A dedicated, patient-focused physician licensed in multiple states is sought to provide high-quality virtual healthcare. The role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care through telemedicine, including assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual patient assessments and treatment
• Order and interpret lab tests
• Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction (excluding other controlled substances)
• Collaborate with healthcare support staff
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices

Requirements

• Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, states (including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs
• At least one DEA certification
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
• Commitment to medical excellence and expanding access to care

Schedule

Minimum of 15 core hours weekly, primarily during daytime hours over four days.
