Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints and escalations
• Make recommendations to improve customer service
• Provide weekly activity reports on overall work performed
• Able to coordinate work for another Telecommunications Specialist
• Install, remove, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair voice and/or non-voice communications systems including paging, alarm, analog, and digital communications equipment
• Run cables, install connectors, etc. associated with telecommunications equipment for voice and non-voice circuits
• Perform onsite, in-person walk-throughs of work areas to determine if additional resources or requirements are needed to fulfill customer experience
• Occasionally required to perform after-hours maintenance work or escort other vendors/contractors requiring access to sensitive telecom areas

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
• Must have at least five years’ experience in pulling wire cable to termination point, for installation of network positions, telephones, switches, etc.
• Four years’ experience handling customer calls and interactions
• Experience at MMAC/FAA is preferred

Qualifications
