About the role
The incumbent will be responsible for installing, daily operation, maintenance, and problem resolution for a telecommunications network. They will also provide support to the Yurok Connect Program.
Responsibilities
- Climbing telecommunication towers.
- Activities necessary to maintain status as a certified climber.
- Troubleshooting and repairing backup power systems.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs wireless Client Premise Equipment (CPE) at customer locations and the Tribe's telecommunications network and equipment.
- Maintains and manages the customer database.
Requirements
- G10-High School or GED plus 1 year specialized experience plus Certified Tower Climber.
- G11-High School plus 3 year specialized experience plus Certified Tower Climber.
- G12-High School plus 5 year specialized experience plus Certified Tower Climber.
Qualifications
- High School or GED.
- Specialized experience.
- Certified Tower Climber.
Skills
- Knowledge of telecommunications networks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Customer service skills.
