Telecom & IT Field Technician - Pittsburgh, PA

About the role

This position is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Install and service VoIP/telecom systems (hosted and premise-based)
• Data / low voltage cabling (Cat5/6, fiber, testing, terminations)
• Surveillance and access control installation/support
• Network equipment setup, physical installation, and troubleshooting
• Paging, emergency communication, and door phone systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of telecom, IT, low-voltage, or related field experience preferred
• Strong hands-on installation abilities
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
• Reliable vehicle required (mileage reimbursed at the national rate)
• High School/GED or equivalent

Pay

Starting at $23/hour and up based on experience

Schedule

Typical hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Most days technicians report directly to the job site rather than the office.
