Telecom Construction Coordinator

Long-term contract position in West Palm Beach, FL.

About the Role

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects, as well as administrative quality control of jobs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track milestones:
  • Create jobs in JT/Polaris
  • Issue jobs to design
  • Manage job through full lifecycle, updating milestones in JT/Polaris
  • Handle exceptions to the life cycle SLAs
  • Reconcile jobs (office)
• Liaise with stakeholders:
  • Serve as point of contact for all internal Comcast cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
  • Provide reporting for next-level management
• Identify resources:
  • Create and approve funding requests
  • Manage material and reconciliation
  • Research contracts and agreements
  • Manage funding request/purchase order
  • Responsible for job estimate (finance)
• Manage and analyze quality control flow:
  • Oversee quality control workflow
  • Validate that field quality control is performed
  • Pull reports and provide feedback based on analysis
  • Interact with specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones are closed
• Conduct administrative and milestone quality control:
  • Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footages)
  • Validate permit is closed
  • Ensure final invoice milestone is set
  • Ensure all milestones are updated
  • Close jobs

Requirements

• Cable knowledge
• Project management skills
• Construction experience

Pay

$28–$33 per hour.
