Telecom Construction Coordinator

Long-term contract position in Miramar, FL.

Pay

$28–$33 per hour.

Qualifications

• All work is office-based; no travel to field sites.
• Excel-savvy: must be able to create reports and pivot tables.
• Strong data-tracking skills and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
• Must have construction-industry experience.
• Experience managing small build projects (some spanning a few thousand feet, some new builds).
• Punctual and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Job creation workflow and milestone management for construction projects, including administrative quality control.
• Manage and track milestones:
  • Create jobs in JT/Polaris.
  • Issue jobs to design.
  • Manage jobs through full lifecycle, updating milestones in JT/Polaris.
  • Handle exceptions to lifecycle SLAs.
  • Reconcile jobs (office).
• Liaise with stakeholders:
  • Serve as point of contact for all internal Comcast cross-functional groups (BOC, CPM, FPM, Sales).
  • Provide reporting for next-level management.
• Identify and manage resources:
  • Create and approve funding requests.
  • Material management and reconciliation.
  • Research contracts and agreements.
  • Manage funding requests and purchase orders.
  • Responsible for job estimates (finance).
• Manage and analyze quality control flow:
  • Oversee quality control workflow.
  • Validate field quality control is performed.
  • Pull reports and provide feedback based on analysis.
  • Interact with specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones are closed.
• Conduct administrative and milestone quality control:
  • Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoices, pictures, footages).
  • Validate permits are closed.
  • Set final invoice milestones.
  • Ensure all milestones are updated and jobs are closed.
