Telecom Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support Berkeley County and Jefferson County WV in construction projects.
• Manage and track milestones and create jobs in JT/Polaris.
• Issue jobs to design and manage jobs through their full lifecycle.
• Handle exceptions to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Reconcile jobs in the office.
• Liaise with internal Comcast cross-functional groups including Business Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Sales.
• Provide reporting for next-level management.
• Identify resources, create and approve funding requests, manage material management, research contracts, and reconcile purchase orders.
• Responsible for job estimates and financial quality control.
• Manage and analyze quality control flow.
• Validate that field quality control is performed and pull reports based on analysis.
• Interact with specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones are closed.
• Conduct administrative and milestone quality control.
• Follow administrative quality control checklists, validate permits, set final invoice milestones, ensure all milestones are updated, and close jobs.

Qualifications

• Cable knowledge
• Project management skills
• Construction experience

Pay

Pay Rate: $28-$33/hr

Schedule

This role is a long-term contract with 60% field work and 40% office work.
