Telecom Civil Workers (Construction)
About the role
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Telecom Civil Workers to join our team at Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. in Waverly, NE. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in telecom civil construction and will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications towers and communication equipment or a strong background in earth moving and construction.
Responsibilities
- Perform line / utility installations
- Grounding as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and communicate updates to the project manager
- Train new crew members on proper construction techniques and safety procedures
- Heavy Equipment operation
Requirements
- Previous experience in the telecom industry, specifically in civil construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in operating construction equipment and tools
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay
Starting Base Pay: $19-$25 depending on experience. $2000 sign‑on bonus paid after 6 months of continuous employment. Employment progress reviews at 45, 90, 180 and 365 days (and annually thereafter) with potential for a raise based on performance. Per diem paid weekly at $130/day. Generous end‑of‑year bonuses. Paid travel to and from regular rotation breaks. Christmas and New Years off.
Schedule
Job type: Permanent full‑time. Overtime opportunities available. Some nights and weekends required.
