Telecom Civil Workers (Construction)

About the role

Telecom Civil Workers: We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Telecom Civil Workers to join our team at Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. in Waverly, NE. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in telecom civil construction and will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications towers and communication equipment or a strong background in earth moving and construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform line / utility installations
• Grounding as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of project progress and communicate updates to the project manager
• Train new crew members on proper construction techniques and safety procedures
• Heavy Equipment operation

Requirements

• Previous experience in the telecom industry, specifically in civil construction
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in operating construction equipment and tools
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay

• Starting Base Pay: $19‑$25 depending on experience
• $2,000 sign‑on bonus paid after 6 months of continuous employment
• Employment progress reviews at 45 days, 90 days, 180 days and 365 days (annually thereafter) with potential raises based on performance
• Per diem paid weekly starting at $130/day
• Generous end‑of‑year bonuses
• Paid travel to and from regular rotation breaks
• Christmas and New Years off

Schedule
