Telecom Civil Workers (Construction)
Responsibilities
- Perform line / utility installations
- Grounding as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and communicate updates to the project manager
- Train new crew members on proper construction techniques and safety procedures
- Heavy equipment operation
Requirements
- Previous experience in the telecom industry, specifically in civil construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in operating construction equipment and tools
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay
Starting base pay: $19‑$25 depending on experience. $2,000 sign‑on bonus paid after 6 months of continuous employment. Employment progress reviews at 45, 90, 180 and 365 days, then annually, each with potential for a raise based on performance. Per diem paid weekly at $130/day. Generous end‑of‑year bonuses. Paid travel to and from regular rotation breaks. Christmas and New Year’s off.
