About the role

The ideal physician will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Train and mentor residents and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research.

Requirements

• Licensed in Texas and residing in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, or Georgia.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist.

Skills

• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with interdisciplinary care.
