About the role

Dillard's is looking for college students to start their careers in technology. The Technology Training Program offers a transition from college to corporate life, focusing on learning Dillard's IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications across various departments including Marketing, eCommerce, Inventory, and Finance.
• Analyze current business trends and strategies using data warehousing and predictive insights.
• Maintain hardware, services, and networks to ensure connectivity for all levels of the organization.
• Support users with software, hardware, and network issues.
• Implement, review, and improve security controls to protect sensitive data.

Requirements

• Well-versed in problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as Java, COBOL, Groovy, Angular, .NET, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, and Bash.
