Technology Trainee Disaster Restoration

About the role

We help people who have recently suffered damage to their homes because of floods, fire, mold, etc., and we use the newest and best technology and software to achieve state-of-the-art results. We need reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic self-starters to join our ServiceMaster team in Hamden/New Haven.

The successful candidates may have some experience but must be willing to learn:

• Science-based professional fire, water, and mold remediation skills
• How to use technology to handle disaster restoration projects from beginning to end
• How to use the complete suite of ServiceMaster's cell phone-based restoration software
• How to help document daily progress of our projects
• How to communicate clearly with customers and other crew members

Requirements

• Must have some aptitude for technology and should be proficient with a cell phone
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be available for emergency work after hours and weekends one week per month
• Can lift 50 pounds
• Have a great attitude and want to help people

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule

This is a 40-hour per week job, but there is some flexibility possible with regard to schedule.
