Disaster Restoration Technician

About the role

ServiceMaster by Griffing, the leading provider of fire, water, and mold damage restoration services to commercial and residential properties in Northeast PA, is seeking an experienced Crew Chief or someone with the willingness and aptitude to learn. Schooling and paid training opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to problems with confidence.
• Ensure safety and attention to detail.
• Work full time and overtime hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call.
• Create a positive customer experience.
• Utilize technology and basic math.
• Work inside and outside in disaster-affected areas.
• Lift 50+ pound equipment unassisted on a regular basis.

Requirements

• IICRC Certification required (training provided if willing to learn).
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Comfortable working in various inside and outside conditions, including environments without air conditioning or heating.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, squat, crawl, and crouch for extended periods.
• Capable of moving up to 70 pounds often by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.
• Must be able to wear respirators that seal to the face for safety in certain situations.

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, with earning potential of $35,000 - $55,000 in the first year.
