Technology Protection Engineer II (Pipeline)
About the role
The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Army Security Office (ASO), and Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC) support services have initiated this effort to provide support in the development of security related documentation to include Science & Technology Protection Plans (S&T PP) and Program Protection Plans (PPPs), critical technology reviews, and threat/mitigation plans that utilize a systematic approach to technology protection, intelligence analysis, and multi-discipline security specialist support to provide risk mitigation across the Army to protect Army personnel, facilities, infrastructure, networks and national security information.
Responsibilities
- Provide RTP engineering analysis, including Controlled Technical Information (CTI) identification, Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments, Critical Function (CF) analysis, supply chain analysis, vulnerability analysis, and risk evaluation.
- Provide inputs to threat identification, security-related protection measure development, and countermeasures development recommendations based on engineering analysis results.
- Document results of the support and related meetings (other than recurring) will be documented in an ARTPC assessment/survey memorandum, AAR/Executive Summary (EXSUM), in the customer tracking database, and as part of the monthly status report (MSR).
- Work with government and contractor security specialists to develop an effective Interim/S&T Protection Plan and/or Program Protection Plan and ensure the plan is satisfactorily implemented at Government as well as contractor facilities where CTI and/or CPI reside.
- Conduct CPI Surveys, CPI Assessments, and CTI identification methodology reviews, on behalf of Army customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, aerospace, materials, etc.).
- Four (4) years of engineering experience.
- Experience in briefing and interacting with SES/General Officer levels preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
