PipeLine Information Systems is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer 2 to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and data.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical support for security incidents
- Stay current with emerging threats and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Systems Security
- CISSP certification preferred
- Strong understanding of network security principles
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS)
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
