About the Opportunity
The **Technology Operations Specialist** is responsible for managing business systems and vendor relationships that support the organization's event technology infrastructure. This role ensures operational precision and reliable platform management, enabling leadership to focus on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Administer Asana user management, organizational hygiene, and support.
- Collaborate with department leads to maintain project timelines and templates.
- Serve as internal contact for Asana troubleshooting and support.
- Manage user access and permissions within the Cvent platform.
- Perform routine administration tasks for Cvent and coordinate with Cvent support.
- Liaise with the managed service provider for Microsoft 365 administration and support.
- Monitor MSP service levels and escalate issues appropriately.
- Coordinate Microsoft 365 licensing, access requests, and onboarding.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with the Microsoft Dynamics vendor.
- Translate internal business needs into documented requests for Dynamics support.
- Maintain logs of changes and surface recurring issues to leadership.
- Handle procurement coordination and vendor relationships with suppliers like CDW and Provantage.
- Assist with vendor contract renewals, software licensing, and hardware lifecycle tracking.
- Keep organized records of vendor contacts, contracts, and purchase history.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in technology operations, IT coordination, or business systems support.
- Experience administering project management platforms, preferably Asana.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and service providers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter capable of managing tasks with minimal direction.
- PREFERRED: Experience with Cvent administration and Microsoft Dynamics 365 coordination.
- PREFERRED: Background in events, hospitality, or client-services environments.
- PREFERRED: Platform certification such as Asana Certified Pro.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
