About the role
As a Technology Manager, you will lead the IT department in providing strategic direction and technical expertise to support the organization's technology needs. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of all technology systems, ensuring they align with business objectives.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and management of hardware and software solutions.
- Manage IT projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data security and privacy.
- Provide technical guidance and training to IT staff and other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an IT environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading IT initiatives and projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and their applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
