Technology/Low Voltage Designer

About the role

The Technology/Low Voltage Designer will be responsible for designing and implementing low voltage systems in various settings such as commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential properties.

Responsibilities

• Designing electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Performing site visits to gather information about existing electrical systems and to plan new installations
• Preparing detailed project plans and specifications
• Testing and commissioning completed projects to ensure proper functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in low voltage design and installation
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
