About the Role

A seasoned AWS professional capable of leading cloud transformation initiatives, establishing cloud governance, optimizing cloud operations, and driving enterprise adoption of AWS best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud environments using services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, ECS/EKS, and IAM.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives for enterprise applications.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and AWS EKS.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.
  • Ensure cloud environments meet security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements through IAM, encryption, and network security controls.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization and operational efficiency using AWS native tools and FinOps best practices.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, high availability, and business continuity planning.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE).
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, Route 53, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
