Primary Responsibilities
- Operate and improve Kubernetes-based cloud platform services.
- Perform Kubernetes cluster upgrades, maintenance, and incident remediation.
- Build automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based delivery workflows.
- Partner with Compliance and SecOps teams to meet FedRAMP High / IL-5 requirements.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational repeatability.
- Participate in on-call rotation for platform and application services
Requirements
- 5+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
- Strong AWS experience, ideally including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and/or AWS GovCloud.
- Hands-on Kubernetes operations experience, including cluster upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Ci/CD experience with Jenkins, Harness, Argo CD, GitOps, or similar tools.
- Container experience with Docker.
- Production incident response and on-call support experience.
- Strong scripting or software engineering ability, preferably Python, Bash, or similar.
