Responsibilities

  • Advise corporate clients directly on a wide variety of technology transactions, providing entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal advice.
  • Handle complex technology transactions autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
  • Provide legal advice to teams from Research & Development, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Advertising Sales, and Communications from initial product development to launch.
  • Support business teams by building consensus on projects from design to launch, including new features, products, services, and programs.
  • Review global products, features, and platforms to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders across client teams on complex deals for large tech companies operating globally.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of significant technology transaction experience, preferably in an in-house environment, working on a wide variety of technology transactions including SaaS, licensing, hardware, and other technology licenses.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology contracts with strong issue-spotting skills and attention to detail in contract revision.
  • Previous experience working in-house for a technology company or with a tech industry client.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in the state of current residence.

Pay

The estimated total compensation for this full-time attorney role is $104,500–290,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
