Responsibilities

Track and maintain inventory records for technology equipment, furniture, and other departmental assets.

Assist with furniture placement, relocation, setup, and inventory tracking.

Conduct inventory audits and update databases to ensure accurate records.

Prepare, configure, distribute, collect, and organize technology equipment.

Perform routine technology maintenance, software updates, and basic troubleshooting.

Label, organize, store, and secure equipment and furnishings.

Assist with classroom furniture moves, workspace setup, and general facilities-related projects.

Provide customer service and basic technology support to students, staff, and visitors.

Complete other duties as assigned in support of department operations.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Able to accurately enter and maintain records.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Required Qualifications

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management & tracking.
• Experience troubleshooting technology.
• Familiarity with assistive technology or accessibility services.
• Experience working in an educational or customer service environment.
