Technology Integration Assistant

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to promote increased student achievement in the classroom through the use of technology, while providing a safe learning environment
• Ability to integrate technology skills on a developmental level for students into the teaching-learning process
• Clear commitment to meeting the needs of all students
• Proficient in the use of technology through educational or work experience
• Ability to manage and engage students in the learning process

Summary of Responsibilities

• Support curriculum delivery using technology as a tool for skill acquisition, application and enrichment
• Perform routine hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting when necessary
• Assist in the day to day operation of the Computer Lab
• Supervise and assist students with projects and assignments to acquire and improve computer skills in using software and hardware
• Reinforce and assist media specialists and classroom teachers' integration of technology with other content areas and the implementation of the District's technology plan
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with school personnel, students and their families
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by Building Administrators

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $18.70 per hour
• Work Year: 180 Days/School Year
• Starting: 2026-2027 School Year
