About the Role
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Technology Innovation and Data (TID) Specialist to join our dynamic Information Technology team. In this role, you will assist the management team in the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data, and voice communications activities throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support critical hotel technology systems, including the Property Management System (PMS), Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, and Food & Beverage Point of Sale (POS) platforms, ensuring maximum uptime and reliable 24/7 operations.
- Provide systems administration and end-user support, including user account management, access configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and training on hardware and software systems.
- Assist with server and infrastructure management, including performance monitoring, operating system upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overall technology environment reliability.
- Deliver technical support across all property applications, including back-office, sales and catering, human resources, and other business systems, while managing service restoration, issue resolution, and cybersecurity protections such as virus prevention.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to efficiently troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate Help Desk tickets, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or at least 1 year in IT experience; hotel experience preferred.
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Proven ability to maintain a safe working environment while demonstrating professionalism, sound decision-making, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data, quickly grasp technical concepts, and apply operations knowledge to drive efficient and effective outcomes.
- Extended periods of desk-based work, utilizing computer technology, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications throughout the shift.
Schedule
- Tuesday–Saturday schedule with flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Sundays may also be required.
