About the Role
Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking an innovative, service-oriented Technology Coordinator to lead technology operations and support the instructional mission of our PreK3–8 Catholic school. This is an opportunity to empower teachers, inspire students, and create a technology environment where learning flourishes.
Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: Develop and maintain the school's technology systems and long-term technology plan.
- Technology Inventory & Asset Management:
- Maintain a complete inventory of all school technology equipment.
- Track computers, Chromebooks, iPads, projectors, printers, and classroom technology.
- Manage warranties, replacements, repairs, and equipment lifecycle.
- Organize annual technology audits and deployment.
- Software & Subscription Management:
- Manage educational software licenses and subscriptions.
- Oversee Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365, and other instructional platforms.
- Monitor renewal dates and ensure uninterrupted service.
- Evaluate new educational technology tools.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
- Serve as the school's LMS Administrator.
- Create and manage teacher, student, and parent accounts.
- Support grading, report cards, assignments, and communication within the LMS.
- Monitor grading deadlines and assist teachers with timely grade submission.
- Ensure accurate student enrollment and course management.
- Teacher Training & Technology Coaching:
- Provide ongoing professional development for faculty.
- Train teachers on classroom technology and digital instructional tools.
- Create easy-to-follow technology guides and tutorials.
- Support teachers as they integrate technology into daily instruction.
- Offer one-on-one coaching and troubleshooting.
- Technical Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for campus technology support.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, printing, and classroom technology issues.
- Configure new computers and devices.
- Maintain classroom technology, including interactive displays, projectors, sound systems, and printers.
- Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Website & Digital Communication:
- Assist with maintaining the school's website.
- Support digital communication platforms.
- Help ensure online information remains accurate and current.
- Student & Classroom Support:
- Assist teachers with technology-enhanced lessons.
- Support student technology use across grade levels.
- Promote responsible digital citizenship.
- Help integrate technology into curriculum and classroom learning.
- School Support:
- Provide technology assistance during school events, programs, testing, and presentations.
- Attend faculty meetings as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal and administrative team.
- Recommend technology purchases and improvements.
- Maintain technology policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and technology service providers.
- Assist with technology budgeting and purchasing.

Skills
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms; strong understanding of edTech.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise databases.
- Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN architecture, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Cisco routers, firewalls, and network engineering principles.
- Expertise in LMS and IT service management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from initiation through completion.
- Strong knowledge of information security practices, including network security protocols, access controls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with software development processes; experience with configuration management tools and remote access software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration; capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment; adept at time management and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience supporting Windows, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and classroom technology.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Preferred:
- Experience as a Technology Coordinator or IT Specialist in a non-public school.
- Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Google Workspace for Education experience.
- Knowledge of educational technology integration.
- Experience training adults.
- Basic networking and device management experience.
- Familiarity with educational software and student information systems.
