Responsibilities
- Advises on intellectual property matters in connection with corporate transactions, including M&A, public offerings, and financings.
- Structures, drafts, and negotiates intellectual property and commercial agreements, including licensing, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements.
- Works on high-stakes transactions involving the commercialization of products and services with intellectual property at their core.
- Collaborates with colleagues across various practice groups, working on the latest emerging technologies.
- Contributes to business development and the firm’s growth in technology-focused transactions.
Qualifications
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials.
- At least six years of law firm or in-house experience handling licensing and technology transaction matters.
- Admission to the Minnesota, California, Utah, Texas, or Washington bar or ability to become admitted in one of these states.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with an eye for detail.
- A motivated self-starter with strong teamwork skills and curiosity.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from £295,000 to £315,000+ for California applicants, based on experience.
