Responsibilities

  • Technology Department Support: Review processing activities for critical orders and material to verify adherence to required specifications.
  • Analytical Support: Collect, analyze, and summarize product and process data to support operational reporting and decision-making.
  • Backlog Management: Monitor departmental backlogs and escalate necessary items as needed.
  • Data Compilation: Compile and summarize data for reports, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Chart Preparation: Prepare and review heat treatment charts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Document Management: Compare conversion requisitions against order requirements, maintain a current database by consistently uploading purchase orders in a timely manner, and retrieve necessary documents.
  • Systems Support: Perform administrative support tasks such as scanning, printing, and retrieving necessary documents.
  • QA/QC Functions: Assist in and execute customer/OEM audits, generate and review material certifications to meet necessary requirements, and provide support for quality assurance audits.
  • Audit Support: Review test results to confirm acceptability to relevant customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Skills: Organizational and analytical skills are mandatory. Effective communication, both written and oral. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience: Capability to customize communication to both technical and non-technical personnel to ensure understanding. Attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies. Associate degree in a STEM related field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment. 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
