About the role
Barclays Services Corp. is seeking Technology Analysts in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
- Prototype financial models working closely with Quants and Trading Desk developers collocated on the trading floor in a Rapid Application Mode adjusting to the changing requirements based on market and client conditions.
- Analyze, develop, and operationalize complete computer systems.
- Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.
- Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet users’ needs.
- Optimize systems and applications and perform analysis to improve processes.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces for applications.
- Install, test and maintain existing and new systems.
- Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
- Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
- Perform security analyses of developed or packaged software components.
- Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
- Work in a varied and technical environment including Windows, Unix, Java, NoSQL, Linux, Python, Hadoop, scripting languages, cloud computing, web technologies, Data science and Data engineering activities and real time systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum Salary: $150,550 per year
- Maximum Salary: $160,000 per year
