Technologist - Specials Lead

Role Overview: A Radiology Technologist-Specials Lead performs imaging procedures and treatments to support diagnosis and therapy, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care. Key Responsibilities Organize daily operations and workflow to deliver efficient, high-quality exams/treatments.Apply thorough understanding of radiologic principles to select appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.Complete documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.Achieve assigned goals and demonstrate leadership within the team. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months experience in an acute care or specialty setting.Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT-R) required; ARRT(VI) preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Proficiency in computer skills.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull varying weights, with physical activity levels ranging from sedentary to heavy. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and airborne diseases. No supervisory responsibilities. The role involves continuous physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
