About the Role
Leads the daily activities of an assigned radiology modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR). Acts as a resource concerning the specialty area for radiologists, radiology staff, and other departments. Serves as a liaison between the department and referring physician’s offices. Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Cancer Center – Radiation Oncology, specifically leading the daily activity of the CT scanner(s).
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the assigned radiology modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR).
- Act as a resource for radiologists, radiation therapists, and department staff regarding the CT process or specialty area.
- Serve as a liaison between the department and referring physician’s offices.
Requirements
- Registered Radiological Technologist (RT or RTT).
- Two (2) years of experience in the specialty area (MRI, CT, US, or IR).
- Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience.
