Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary Operates radiology equipment to perform routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians, supporting accurate disease diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety standards.Selects and computes settings tailored to each patient.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participates in performance improvement activities and monitors quality data.Achieves assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications And Skills Completion of a recognized Radiology Technology Program.Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or eligible for certification.Knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and safety procedures.Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work efficiently. Licensing and Certification ARRT(R); BLS certification within 14 days of hire; state license as required.
