Technologist - Radiology

Role Overview The radiologic technologist operates imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, aiding physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform radiologic procedures following safety standards and physician requests.Select and adjust technical settings based on patient needs.Develop and implement appropriate imaging protocols.Document procedures in compliance with hospital policies.Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participate in quality improvement activities and monitor performance metrics.Complete assigned goals and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R)) or pending registration.Understanding of radiologic principles and techniques; ability to follow instructions and organize work.Current BLS certification; state licensure as required. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field.Additional training or certifications in radiologic practices.
