Technologist - Radiology

Role Overview: Operates radiology equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, aiding in disease diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Performs radiologic procedures following technical and safety standards as directed by a licensed physician.Exercises judgment in selecting appropriate settings for each patient and develops treatment plans.Implements procedures in accordance with hospital protocols, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures safety and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.Participates in performance improvement activities and collects quality data to monitor standards.Completes assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program; current ARRT(R) registration or recent graduate awaiting registration.Minimum of an associate degree in a related field preferred.Thorough understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.Ability to follow written and oral instructions, plan, and organize work effectively.Licensure requirements include ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days, and state licensing if applicable.
