Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Executes additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles, applying appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following established protocols.Completes documentation complying with hospital policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.Collects, analyzes, and shares medical record information with authorized personnel.Prepares reports as directed and completes assigned goals. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited radiologic educational program, not currently ARRT-registered.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills.State licensure as required; ARRT certification preferred.
