Technologist - MRI

Job Summary: Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Also handles additional assigned duties. Responsibilities Applies thorough understanding of radiologic principles, using appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans according to established protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competencies.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) or in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR); BLS certification within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills required.Licensing includes ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), BLS certification within 14 days, and any state-specific licenses.
