Technologist - MRI

Job Summary This role involves performing imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles and select appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans following established protocols and guidelines.Complete documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner for patient and staff safety.Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold quality patient care.Achieve assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Minimum six months of experience in the specialty area to meet MRI competencies.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R), with preferred ARRT(MR) registration.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; new graduates must obtain registry within 60 days.Basic computer literacy skills.State licensure as applicable.
