Technologist - MRI

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment. Handles additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Applies a thorough understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans following established protocols.Documents procedures accurately to comply with policies.Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.Completes assigned goals effectively. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience in the relevant specialty area to meet MRI competencies.Registered with ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) preferred; BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer skills required; state licensure as needed.
