Technologist - Mobile Mammography

Role Overview: Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards in various settings, including mobile units, clinics, or hospitals, to support diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Operates mammography equipment and performs mammography procedures.Assists in developing community networks to coordinate mobile unit events.Promotes mobile mammography services and screening awareness in designated areas.Completes documentation to comply with policies and maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner.Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited radiography program; registered with ARRT and ARRT(M) in mammography.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet mammography competencies. Additional Requirements Licensure and registration with ARRT(R) and ARRT(M).Strong understanding of radiologic procedures, excellent patient care, and safety practices.
