Technologist - Mammography

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Performs additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles and applies appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and clean condition.Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.Achieves assigned goals efficiently. Qualifications Preferred: 6 months experience in mammography.Education: ARRT(R) registration, with mammography certification preferred; must obtain ARRT(M) within 12 months if not already certified; BLS certification required within 30 days.Skills: Basic computer literacy.Licenses: State license as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R); mammography certification preferred.
