Technologist - Mammography

Role Overview Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensures optimal procedure outcomes through proper technique, positioning, and protocol adherence. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of radiologic principles and applies appropriate techniques.Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans in line with hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills 6 months experience in mammography preferred.Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R), with ARRT(M) certification preferred; must complete ARRT(M) within 12 months.BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills.State licensure as required.
