Technologist-Echocardiographer

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Executes procedures with appropriate techniques, develops and implements treatment plans, and ensures documentation complies with policies. Maintains equipment and work areas for safety and cleanliness. Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards and completes assigned goals. Qualifications & Skills Recent sonography experience preferred.Must be registered with ARDMS, CCI, or RVT; new graduates awaiting registry are acceptable with proof within 60 days.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer skills required; advanced skills preferred.Licensure with ARDMS/CCI or new graduates obtaining certification within 12 months.
