About the role
Registered Echocardiographer Technologist responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures following established standards and protocols.
- Develop and implement appropriate procedure and treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
- Complete assigned goals effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Recent experience as a Sonographer or new graduate awaiting certification.
- Registered by ARDMS and/or CCI or able to obtain certification within 12 months.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Perform continuous standing and walking.
- Operate in environments with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and airborne contaminants.
