Technologist-Echocardiographer

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to assist in disease diagnosis and management. Also handles related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Applies comprehensive radiologic principles, choosing the best techniques and positioning for effective procedures.Develops and implements appropriate procedure or treatment plans following hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas for safety and cleanliness.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality patient care.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred.Registered by ARDMS, Cardiac Sonographer, or Vascular Technologist, or a recent graduate awaiting certification (proof required within 60 days).BLS certification within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy required.Licensure through ARDMS/CCI or a plan to obtain certification within 12 months; BLS within 14 days of hire preferred.
