Technologist-Echocardiographer

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Executes assigned duties efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans aligned with hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, organized condition.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.Achieves assigned goals and contributes to departmental objectives. Qualifications & Skills Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred.Must be registered with ARDMS, Cardiac Sonographer, or Vascular Technologist, or a new graduate awaiting certification, with proof needed within 60 days of graduation.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer skills required; additional training preferred.Licensure with ARDMS/CCI or new graduates obtaining certification within 12 months required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire is necessary.
