About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with Cardiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Works under the supervision of a registered Cardiac sonographer and develops appropriate procedure plans.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of Cardiology principles to ensure optimal procedure results.
• Utilizes proper techniques and positioning during procedures.
• Implements treatment plans following established protocols.
• Completes necessary documentation to comply with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
• Achieves assigned goals.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound or Cardiology program.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
