About the role

This role involves performing imaging procedures and treatments aligned with Cardiology standards to assist in disease diagnosis and management.

Responsibilities

• Apply thorough knowledge of Cardiology principles to select appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal outcomes.
• Work under supervision of a registered Cardiac sonographer to develop and implement procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain equipment, rooms, and work areas for safety and efficiency.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
• Complete assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Ultrasound or Cardiology program.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
