Technologist - Cath Lab/EP II

About the role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and patient care. Executes additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following established protocols.
• Completes accurate documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment, work areas, and procedure rooms in a safe, clean condition to promote safety for patients and staff.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care quality standards.
• Achieves assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty area, meeting all competencies.
• Required education includes ARRT(R) or RCIS registration, with BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred registration in Vascular Interventional (ARRT(VI)).
• Basic computer skills necessary.
• Licensing requirements include ARRT(R), BLS, and state licenses as applicable; ARRT(VI) preferred.
