Technologist - Cath Lab EP I

About the role

Assists in cardiovascular procedures within the Cardiac Cath and EP Lab by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring under the supervision of interventional cardiologists or electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of lab principles and techniques for optimal procedures
• Develops and implements treatment plans following protocols
• Completes documentation accurately and timely
• Maintains equipment and work areas in clean, functional condition
• Participates in performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath or EP lab
• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Associate's degree, Surgical Technology, or Radiology program
• Certifications required:
  • BLS (within 14 days of hire)
  • ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
  • RCIS, RCES, CST, or ARRT(R)

Skills
